چکیده

Goals: to describe the STARS ArcGIS geoprocessing toolset, which is used to calculate the spatial information needed to fit spatial statistical models to stream network data using the SSN package. The STARS toolset is designed for use with a Landscape Network (LSN), which is a topological data model produced by the FLoWS ArcGIS geoprocessing toolset. An overview of the FLoWS LSN structure and a few particularly useful tools is also provided so that users will have a clear understanding of the underlying data structure that the STARS toolset depends on. This document may be used as an introduction to new users. The methods used to calculate the spatial information and format the final .ssn object are also explicitly described so that users may create their own .ssn object using other data models and software.

Spatial count models on the number of unhealthy days in Tehran

Spatial count data is usually found in most sciences such as environmental science, meteorology, geology and medicine. Spatial generalized linear models based on poisson (poisson-lognormal spatial model) and binomial (binomial-logitnormal spatial model) distributions are often used to analyze discrete count data in which spatial correlation is observed. The likelihood function of these models i...

A Review of Spatial Factor Modeling Techniques in Recommending Point of Interest Using Location-based Social Network Information

The rapid growth of mobile phone technology and its combination with various technologies like GPS has added location context to social networks and has led to the formation of location-based social networks. In social networking sites, recommender systems are used to recommend points of interest (POIs) to users. Traditional recommender systems, such as film and book recommendations, have a lon...

Improving the predictive power of spatial statistical models of stream macroinvertebrates using weighted autocovariance functions

Spatial statistical stream-network models are useful for modelling physicochemical data, but to-date have not been fit to macroinvertebrate data. Spatial stream-network models were fit to three macroinvertebrate indices: percent pollution-tolerant taxa, taxa richness and the number of taxalacking out-ofnetwork movement (in-stream dispersers). We explored patterns of spatial autocorrelation in t...

Zoning hydraulic conductivity using different geostatistical methods (Case study Shavoor)

In studies of irrigation and drainage projects for drainage, it is necessary to extend the data from the sampling point to the network. Therefore, based on available data from observational wells, estimating the state of hydraulic conductivity (K) in the surrounding area. The estimation process values for locations where there is no information for them based on viewing areas called wells spati...

Spatial Analysis of Access and Transfer of Emergency (Asthma) Patients to Medical Centers; Case Study on District 3 of Tehran, Iran

INTRODUCTION: The short resuscitation time for patients with asthma is one of the most urgent medical conditions with a high importance. In this study, the geographic information system (GIS) is used to analyze the access and transfer of emergency patients to health care centers (resuscitation, specialized, and health care services) to patients with respiratory problems with moderate and acute ...
